Drunken road rage leaves six injured in Delhi

New Delhi, July 3 (IANS) Six people were injured as two groups clashed in a case of drunken road rage here in the early hours of Thursday, the police said. The incident occurred at outer ring road near Vikas Puri when a car reportedly coming from wrong side of the road hit another car.

The occupants of both the cars reportedly clashed with knives and swords. The police, however, found no weapons from the spot.

A Maruti Swift car with four occupants - Sandeep, Kamal, Pradeep and Shekhar - had collided with a Honda City, driven by Puneet who was accompanied by his friend Taranpreet.

All six were taken to Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Hospital for treatment. The police claimed that except Puneet all others were found drunk.
