Drugs turn three youths into murderers
October 13th, 2011 - 9:09 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Oct 13 (IANS) Addicted to drugs, three boys, including a juvenile, turned murderers for money, police said.
Sunil Kumar alias Nandu (20), Monu Kumar (19) and the juvenile were arrested Oct 12 for allegedly murdering a tempo driver, Pintoo Kumar, near Surya Vihar area of Kapashera Oct 8.
“The accused did not have money to buy drugs, so they planned to rob someone,” said a senior police officer. “They tried to overpower the deceased but when they failed to do so, Nandu stabbed him. The trio then robbed him and fled.”
Police recovered from their possession a mobile phone, knife, PAN card, driving license and purse of the deceased.
Pintoo used to transport merchandise from a Gurgaon warehouse to showrooms at Vasant Kunj and Gurgaon.
