Driver set ablaze after minor’s death
August 17th, 2011 - 4:34 pm ICT by IANSPatna, Aug 17 (IANS) Angry over the death of a minor in an accident, a tractor driver was burnt alive by a mob in Bihar Wednesday, police said.
The tractor accidentally hit a cycle, killing a child and injuring two persons in a village near Patna. After this, angry villagers thrashed the driver and set his tractor afire.
“While the tractor was burning, the villagers threw the driver into the flames,” a police officer said.
The driver was burnt to death, the officer said.
