Driver of retired army officer found murdered
February 3rd, 2012 - 1:20 am ICT by IANSGhaziabad, Feb 2 (IANS) The driver of a retired army officer was found murdered in Ghaziabad Thursday, police said.
The body of Makhhan, 25, was found lying in a park Thursday morning in Rajendra Nagar locality under Sahibabad police station of Ghaziabad.
Makhhan was a driver with a retired Colonel and did not report for work on Tuesday. On Wednesday, he left home but did not reach his work place.
Thursday morning, some people on morning walk noticed the body lying in Naveen Park. They identified him as Makhhan and informed his father Jagdish Prasad, who informed police.
Sahibabad Inspector Devi Ram Gautam said the body bore two bullet injuries on the chest and has been sent for autopsy. A probe has begun, he said.
