Speaking on the sidelines of the inauguration of a sub-station at the Ridge in Dhaula Kuan, she said Delhi would wear a festive look during the mega event.
“It is for all the citizens to be part of this national festival,” said Dikshit while urging people to be alert and take precautions during the Games.
Dikshit said: “Delhi is now well prepared to host the Commonwealth Games. But for this, a sense of discipline and dedication is required. People should prefer (to travel by) public transport during the Games.”
