DMK to take legal action in 2G spectrum case
April 27th, 2011 - 2:13 pm ICT by IANSChennai, April 27 (IANS) Tamil Nadu’s ruling DMK Wednesday decided to take suitable legal action to establish the truth in the 2G spectrum scam in which Kanimozhi, Rajya Sabha member and daughter of Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi, has been named a co-accused.
Kanimozhi was named by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Monday as a co-conspirator in the scam.
The decision to back Kanimozhi was taken at a meeting chaired by DMK president Karunanidhi and attended by the party leadership, including Deputy Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, union minister M.K. Alagiri (both sons of Karunanidhi), general secretary K. Anbazhagan, Kanimozhi and former central minister T.R. Baalu.
