Dikshit releases capital’s calender
December 21st, 2011 - 9:36 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Dec 21 (IANS) The official calender of Delhi, which showcases the life of people in the capital during the British Raj, was released by Chief Minister Sheila Diskhit Wednesday to commemorate 100 years of the founding of New Delhi.
It showcases images by photographers such as Bourne, Shepherd and Vernon and Co. who were established in Delhi at that time.
Speaking on the occasion, Dikshit said: “We celebrate, commend and dedicate ourselves to make Delhi truly the best capital in the world.”
