Diesel slightly cheaper in Delhi
June 27th, 2011 - 9:14 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, June 27 (IANS) The Delhi government Monday announced a marginal decrease in diesel prices while cooking gas cylinders will be cheaper for the poor.
Diesel prices will come down by 37 paise per litre, while cooking gas cylinder prices have been reduced by Rs.40 for below poverty line (BPL) and Antyodaya card holders.
The decision was taken at a cabinet meeting Monday. The revenue loss to be incurred by this will be around Rs.38 crore, Delhi government sources said.
