DiCaprio likes complicated characters
December 17th, 2011 - 4:11 pm ICT by IANSLondon, Dec 17 (IANS) Actor Leonardo DiCaprio likes to challenge himself with complicated characters in movies.
The actor admits he chooses his roles based on the characters, rather than the genre of the movie, reports contactmusic.com.
“I’ve never doubted the material I’ve been drawn to. I don’t do a film because I feel it’s time to do a comedy or a science-fiction or another genre,” said the “Titanic” star.
“I do it because I’m motivated, it interests me, and I feel as if I could be of service to the character. And I like complicated characters,” he added.
DiCaprio is currently working on “The Great Gatsby”, an adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic novel.
