Dhumal attacks hike in petrol prices
November 5th, 2011 - 12:42 am ICT by IANSShimla, Nov 4 (IANS) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister P.K. Dhumal Friday condemned the hike in petrol price by the central government.
In a statement here, Dhumal said the latest hike in petrol price by Rs.1.80 per litre has made the life of common man difficult.
During the past four years, the petrol price was increased by Rs.25.50 per litre, LPG by Rs.142 per cylinder and diesel by Rs.11 per litre, he noted, urging the central government to withdraw the hike in the petrol prices and also ensure that the petroleum prices were not increased in the future.
