Denied money for alcohol, youth commits suicide
February 1st, 2011 - 10:18 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Feb 1 (IANS) A 22-year-old youth committed suicide by hanging himself in his house in Aman Vihar area of outer Delhi after being denied money for alcohol, police said Tuesday. According to the police, Rakesh was found hanging from the ceiling of his house in Karan Vihar area late Monday evening. He was rushed to a local hospital where he was brought dead.
“Rakesh used to indulge in drinking. He demanded money from his mother Monday evening. Knowing that he would buy liquor, she refused and he went and hanged himself,” a police officer said.
