Delhi wakes up to a bright, warm day

New Delhi, Feb 19 (IANS) Delhiites woke up to a warm and sunny Thursday although there was a slight nip in the air early morning.
According to an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official, the sky will remain clear through the day and the temperatures will be above normal.

“The minimum temperature recorded early Thursday was two degrees above normal at 12 degrees Celsius. The maximum too will hover around 28 degrees Celsius, which is four degrees above normal for this time of the year,” the official said.

Although there was a light mist in early part of the day, there were no disruption in air traffic because of the weather.

“The runway visibility in the airport has been good since morning and therefore there have been no disruptions in flight schedules,” said an airport official.
