Delhi shivers at 3.3 degrees - coldest so far
December 24th, 2011 - 12:41 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Dec 24 (IANS) Chilly winds left Delhiites shivering Saturday morning — the coldest of the season so far with a minimum temperature of 3.3 degrees Celsius.
“It is the coldest Dec 24 in the last five years. In 2010, the minimum temperature recorded was 7 degrees,” an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official told IANS.
“The skies will be clear. Chilly winds will blow throughout the day,” the official added.
The maximum temperature is likely to be around 19 degrees.
Humidity recorded at 8.30 a.m. was 76 percent.
Friday’s maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 19.9 and 6 degrees respectively.
