Delhi police constable shoots himself
February 23rd, 2009 - 8:15 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Feb 23 (IANS) A 40-year-old Delhi Police constable shot himself dead in Naraina police station in west Delhi, police said Monday.
“The incident took place Monday at around 5 a.m. Constable Kailash Chand shot himself in the head with his carbine inside the toilet at Naraina police station. He was posted there for the last one year,” a police officer said.
“He lives with his family in Najafgarh area. No suicide note has been found and the exact reason of the suicide is not established as yet,” the police officer said.
