Delhi government sops for poor house allottees
June 27th, 2011 - 11:50 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, June 27 (IANS) The Delhi government has decided to regularise the house sites allocated to the poor in the 1970s under the 20-point programme by granting them perpetual lease.
“The perpetual lease will be given to those who were allotted plots under 20 Point programme in the 1970s. The lease will be granted under three categories - original owner, sold houses and commercial properties,” said Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit.
The rates of the lease will be determined in due course.
