Delhi Couture Week to be held July 20-24
May 26th, 2011 - 3:25 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, May 26 (IANS) Gear up for another five-day fashion extravaganza as the dates for the second edition of the Delhi Couture Week have been finalised — it will kick off July 20.
The organisers, Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), has sent a letter to all its members asking for their interest in the participation at the five-day event, which is expected to take place in a five-star hotel here.
Even though FDCI has been strictly focusing on promoting fashion at their business-to-business event Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) by inviting few celebrities to walk the ramp, this might not be the case at the couture week.
As luxury, couture and glamour go hand-in-hand, one can expect Bollywood celebrities and other known faces to be present at the event.
