Delhi chief minister greets people on Diwali

Bharatiya Janata PartyNew Delhi, Oct 27 (IANS) Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit Monday conveyed her greetings and best wishes to all Delhiites on the occasion of Diwali. Dikshit expressed confidence that the festival of lights would bring in prosperity and happiness for all.

She requested the people to avoid busrting crackers on the occasion to curb pollution.

Bharatiya Janata Party’s chief ministerial candidate for the upcoming polls and deputy leader of opposition in the Lok Sabha V.K. Malhotra also conveyed his Diwali greetings to citizens of Delhi.

He reiterated his party’s promises to bring good administration and pollution-free environment for all if voted to power in the elections.
