New Delhi, March 1 (IANS) A 22-year-old man was killed after a truck hit his motorcycle in the capital, but his family alleged that he died because of delay in trauma care as the police were debating the jurisdiction of the accident.
Nikki, working in a call centre in the capital, was on his way to office Saturday night when the truck hit him in west Delhi, a police officer said Sunday.

“The man died on the spot while the truck driver managed to escape,” the officer said.

His family alleged that Nikki died following delay in taking him to hospital for trauma care.

“He was lying injured on the road battling for life and the police were discussing jurisdiction. We took him to a hospital but they did not attend to him as it was an accident case,” said an angry member of Nikki’s family.
