Criminal circulating fake currency arrested
May 8th, 2010 - 12:11 am ICT by IANSNew Delhi, May 7 (IANS) A man was arrested for circulating counterfeit currency, police said Friday.
According to police, Rajuddin is a proclaimed offender in cases of murder, rape, kidnapping and circulation of fake Indian currency, a police official said.
“We received a secret information that Rajuddin was dealing in fake currency from Anand Vihar in east Delhi,” a police official said.
Three home-made pistols and counterfeit currency notes with the nominal value of Rs.25,000 were seized from him.
According to police, further investigations are on about his involvement in other cases.
