CPI-M member killed by Maoists in West Bengal
July 17th, 2010 - 1:24 pm ICT by IANSKolkata, July 17 (IANS) Maoists killed a Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) member early Saturday in West Bengal’s West Midnapore district, police said.
A group of 10-12 heavily armed Maoists raided Neguria village and dragged Sayan Pal out of his house and murdered him, an official said.
Maoist rebels are active in West Bengal’s West Midnapore, Purulia and Bankura districts.
