Couple shot at in Noida, wife critical
March 9th, 2011 - 12:13 pm ICT by IANSNoida, March 9 (IANS) A couple on a motorcycle was shot at here Wednesday morning over a property dispute, police said. The wife sustained severe injuries.
Manuwah Hussain, 40, and his wife Meena Hussain, 38, were travelling in a motorcycle at around 9.15 a.m. when the assailant identified as Ladden, in a Mahindra Scorpio, shot at them, police in this suburban town adjacent to the national capital said.
“The incident took place at the intersection of Sector 25 and 35. The couple has been rushed to Kailash Hospital,” a police official said.
A hospital attendant said the wife was in a critical condition and the husband was recuperating.
