Couple commits suicide in Agra
March 12th, 2010 - 1:22 am ICT by IANSAgra, March 11 (IANS) A couple was found dead in their home here Thursday in what appeared to be a suicide pact, police said.
Mahaveer, 40, was found hanging from the ceiling and his wife Poonam, 35, had consumed poison in their house in Bodla area under the Jagdishpura police station. According to the police, the two had strained relations and used to fight every other day.
The couple’s two children had left for the Karauli Devi fair Wednesday evening and the bodies were discovered Thursday by Poonam’s father, who had come to see his daughter.
The bodies have been sent for post mortem examination and investigations are on.
