Cool Wednesday morning in Delhi

New Delhi, June 29 (IANS) Delhiites woke up to a cool morning Wednesday with the minimum temperature settling at 25 degrees Celsius, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

It was three notches below the average at this time of the year, an IMD official said.

“The skies will remain cloudy and there is a likelihood of rain and thundershowers later in the day and at night. A few places may get a heavier spell of rain than the rest,” he said.

The humidity was recorded at a high of 90 percent.

The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 31 degrees Celsius.

Minimum temperature recorded Tuesday was 26.4 degrees Celsius while the maximum settled at 34 degrees.
