Constable commits suicide in Greater Noida
October 27th, 2010 - 12:26 am ICT by IANSGreater Noida, Oct 26 (IANS) A police constable committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle here, police said Tuesday.
His body was found lying next to a tea stall near Sallauddinpur village in Greater Noida.
Police said that Narendra Singh Tyagi, a constable posted at Sector-20 police station in Noida, was on election duty in Surajpur police station. He was asked to keep vigil in Sallauddin Pur village in view of the local panchayat elections being held there.
