January 16th, 2012 - 9:52 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Jan 16 (IANS) The Congress Monday refused to comment on Indian Army chief Gen. V.K. Singh moving the apex court in the row over his year of birth, saying that the matter was between him and the court.
“If a petition has been filed…it is between the person and the court,” Congress spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi said in response to questions at a briefing here.
Singh Monday moved the apex court amid the blazing row over his year of birth. Singh, slated to retire May 31 this year, claims that he would retire on May 31, 2013, had the government not changed the year of his birth from 1951 to 1950.
