Congress leader killed in his Ghaziabad home
December 11th, 2008 - 1:28 pm ICT by IANSGhaziabad (Uttar Pradesh), Dec 11 (IANS) A Congress leader was shot dead in his home by unidentified assailants here Thursday morning. Pintu Tyagi, a member of the All India Congress Committee (AICC), was killed by armed men who rang the bell of his home in RDC colony of this town, adjoining New Delhi and shot him when he came out. They fired three shots at him, police said.
Tyagi had contested the assembly elections on a Congress ticket from Muradnagar but lost.
