Congress allies must be jailed for supporting SIMI: BJP

- Lucknow, Sep 4 (IANS) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Om Prakash Singh here Thursday demanded the arrest of the close political allies of the Congress party for opposing the ban on the Students’ Islamic Movement of India (SIMI).”Lalu Prasad (Rashtriya Janata Dal chief), Ram Vilas Paswan (Lok Janshakti Party national president), Mehbooba Mufti (People’s Democratic Party president), Mulayam Singh Yadav (Samajwadi Party chief) must be put behind the bars for opposing the ban on SIMI,” Singh told reporters.
“By opposing the ban on SIMI, such political outfits were in a way promoting terrorism. They all must be arrested at the earliest,” he added.
