Colombia extradites drug trafficker to US
September 30th, 2011 - 10:10 am ICT by IANSBogota, Sep 30 (IANS) Colombian has extradited a key member of a drug gang to the US, Xinhua reported.
Juan Carlos Rivera was a key member of the Comba group. He was extradited Thursday.
Rivera, also known as “Cero Seis”, was arrested in Colombia’s southern city of Cali in September 2009, and had been kept in custody ever since.
Rivera played a key role in the shipment of cocaine to the US through Mexico and Guatemala.
