Cloudy morning in capital
January 8th, 2012 - 12:32 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Jan 8 (IANS) A cloudy and windy Sunday morning greeted the national capital as the minimum temperature settled five notches above average at 11.9 degrees Celsius. However, the cloud cover didn’t affect visibility.According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), visibility at 8.30 a.m. was 1,200 metres.
“The sky will become clear by afternoon or evening. The maximum temperature will hover around 18 degrees,” an IMD official said.
