Los Angeles, April 21 (IANS) Actor George Clooney has offered two fans a chance to win tickets for a presidential fund-raising dinner party at his home here.
The star will welcome US President Barack Obama and 150 of his supporters at his residence May 10, with guests paying almost $40,000 per ticket in a bid to raise money for Obama’s re-election campaign, reports contactmusic.com.
All proceeds will be donated to the Obama Victory fund, and Clooney is offering two fans a chance of attending the dinner if they make a donation to the campaign.
The minimum donation is $3 and is only open to those eligible to vote for the upcoming US election.
