Clear, pleasant day in Delhi (Lead)

New Delhi, March 6 (IANS) With bright sunshine during the day and a gentle breeze in the evening, Delhiites experienced a pleasant Sunday as the maximum temperature stayed a notch below average. The week ahead is expected to see clear skies, said the Met office.

“The maximum temperature was recorded at 27.3 degrees while the minimum settled at 13 degrees Celsius, which is normal for this time of the season,” an official of the India Meteorological department (IMD) said.

The humidity levels wavered between a maximum of 89 percent and a minimum of 32 percent, the official added.

According to the IMD, Monday will witness similar weather and the day would be clear with no forecast for rain.

“There will be shallow fog early (Monday) morning but the day would be bright and sunny. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 27 and 14 degrees Celsius respectively,” the official added.
