Class 11 student found murdered in Delhi

New Delhi, Feb 27 (IANS) The body of a class 11 student was found here Friday with a rope tied around his neck, the police said.
The victim, identified as Chander Kumar, 16, was found strangled to death on Rao Tula Ram Marg in south Delhi around 8 a.m. Friday.

A rope was tied around Kumar’s neck. He stayed with his family in Nepali Jhuggi (slum) in R.K. Puram area. He was a Class 11 student in a state run school in the same locality, the police said.

“We have registered a case of murder and are investigating the matter. Preliminary investigations reveal it could be case of personal enmity,” said a police officer.

The victim’s body has been sent for post-mortem examination.
