Chinese official sacked for group sex
August 12th, 2011 - 7:05 pm ICT by IANSBeijing, Aug 12 (IANS) A Chinese official has been sacked after online photographs showed him participating in a sex party with three women, authorities said.
Cheng, who was an official in Yunnan province, has been dismissed as his behaviour has “severely damaged social morality”, said a statement.
He was also expelled from the Communist Party of China, said Shanghai Daily.
Stills from a video of the official in a “sex party” with three women were posted online July 31.
Cheng told police that he had been blackmailed for 63,000 yuan (US $9,852).
An investigation showed that four people lured Cheng to the sex party and recorded him using a hidden camera.
The four have been arrested.
The expose took place soon after an official in China’s Henan province was suspended for demanding sex from a woman in return for a job.
