Chinese firm to give fat bonuses
December 23rd, 2011 - 4:57 pm ICT by IANSBeijing, Dec 23 (IANS) A Chinese automaker plans to give out year-end bonuses equal to a staggering 27 months of salary, said a media report.
The news has spread online of the Automaker FAW-Volkswagen’s plans to give out year-end bonuses equalling 27 months of salary, reported China Daily citing Guangzhou Daily.
Though the company confirmed the news, it pointed out that the bonus was based on the basic salary, which is 3,000 yuan ($466) per month.
The media report said that basic salary accounts for one-third of the company’s total payroll.
