Chinese coach to train Myanmar gymnasts
December 31st, 2011 - 7:13 pm ICT by IANSYangon, Dec 31 (IANS) Chinese gymnastics professional Yan Yunying is training Myanmar coaches and youths at a camp here to help the country develop the sport and get gold medals in the 27th South East Asian Games.
The camp started Dec 19, and will run till Jan 11, Xinhua reported.
Yan is using modern techniques in training 17 coaches from the sports ministry, the Myanmar Gymnastics Federation and students from the Yangon region.
A plan is also under way to give talks to female and male gymnastic referees of the federation on techniques and rules in international competitions.
