Chilly Sunday in Delhi
January 22nd, 2012 - 12:13 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Jan 22 (IANS) It was yet another chilly morning for Delhiites Sunday with the minimum temperature recorded a notch below average at 6.8 degrees Celsius. There was no dense fog for the second consecutive day.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said the visibility at 8.30 a.m. was 800 metres and humidity was 76 percent.
“The afternoon will be partly cloudy and chilly winds will blow through the day. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 19 degrees,” an IMD official told IANS.
Saturday’s minimum temperature was recorded two notches below average at 5.4 degrees while the maximum was recorded three notches below average at 18.4 degrees.
