Chilly morning in Delhi
October 28th, 2011 - 11:32 am ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Oct 28 (IANS) Delhiites brought out their sweatshirts and stoles Friday morning as there was a hint of chill in the air. The Met office predicts a slightly cold evening as well.
“The minimum temperature was recorded at 16.6 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the season,” the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 30 degrees Celsius, an IMD official said.
“There was mist and shallow fog in the morning which will be followed by a sunny day. But the evening might be slightly cold,” the official said. Humidity stood at 78 percent.
On Thursday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 30 and 16.7 degrees.
