Child brain tumour patient sodomised
January 31st, 2011 - 1:09 am ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Jan 30 (IANS) An eight-year-old boy suffering a brain tumour was allegedly sodomised by a doctor at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here, hospital sources said Sunday.The hospital administration has set up a panel to inquire into the incident but no police complaint has been filed so far.
According to the source, the incident happened Jan 23 - three days after the boy underwent an operation. He only informed his parents Saturday, and the matter was reported to the hospital authorities.
AIIMS officials could not be reached for comment yet.
