Child attacked by tiger in Russian zoo
January 4th, 2012 - 7:17 pm ICT by IANSMoscow, Jan 4 (IANS/RIA Novosti) A tiger at a zoo in the Amur region attacked and injured a three-year-old child Wednesday.
The boy was taken to hospital in Blagoveshchensk city.
“The parents decided to take a photo of the child and put him too close to the cage. Somehow the tiger was able to reach the child and grabbed him,” said Dmitry Serezhichev, spokesperson of the regional internal affairs department.
