Cheryl visits troops in Afghanistan
September 15th, 2011 - 3:08 am ICT by IANSLondon, Sep 15 (IANS) Singer Cheryl Cole has made a secret trip to Afghanistan to boost British troops’ morale.
Cheryl flew to Camp Bastion, the main British military base in Afghanistan, Wednesday to film a special tribute to mark 10 years of British forces fighting in the war torn region.
“Cheryl’s amazed by the courage of all those serving our country. When she was invited to go out to see them in Afghanistan, she immediately said ‘yes’.She thinks it’s such a great cause ad they deserve all of the recognition they get,” contactmusic.com quoted a source as saying.
