Chennai police recover gold coins from MLM firm

Chennai, May 3 (IANS) Gold coins weighing 71 kg worth over Rs.215 million ($5.37 million) were seized and five employees of a multinational multi-level marketing (MLM) company Quest Net were arrested for cheating, the police said Saturday. The arrests and seizures were the follow-up of a complaint by an investor, Dinesh Kumar, based here who said the company cheated him of his investment of Rs.62,000 and threatened him with dire consequences if he persisted with his allegations.
Quest Net’s international parent company Gold Quest, however, denied the charges late evening and assured its investors in a press release that it was operating legally.
Quest Net’s director Pushpam Apala Naidu (45) and four employees were arrested for criminal breach of trust, cheating, wrongful restraint, conspiracy and criminal intimidation under the Prevention of Prize Chits and Money Circulation Scheme Banning Act. They were remanded to police custody.

Hello Friends,
This company is not a fraudulent company. I have been in this business for 2 years and I have regularly received my share of commission. The company has very good ethics and policies. Its only a bunch of people who dont follow the right path laid by the company and spoil the reputation. Such people are ignorant and lazzy. Please understand the way in which this business is done before joining it.

The issue which is going on regarding the Gold Quest is not at all a worthy one. Believe company follows all the legal ethics to promote the business. Iam sure that Comapany will prove it’s worthy and legality within no time. So friends, don’t be biased for all the news the media is spreading. Be confident and we all love Quest.

Yes Vinay the companay follows in an legal way. But some of the guys doesn’t got the products after three months also, is not the cheating? as per the company rules the product should be delivered within 45 days i thinks it doesnt need to follow the right path laid by company as punit says.
And really this company is cheating by making the price high. Doing a business in QuestNet is very very hard. These are some of the cheating tricks adopted by company
1. You will get back your investment if you make 18 logins for 1PUV else 36 logins if 0.5PUV
2. Success ratio is 20%, in any team only few people i.e., < 10 will get success out of 1000, because it is a binary tree, the exponent power increases rapidly
3. By giving e-vouchers the company is forcing the customers to buy its products
4. And this business is too uch expensive, Questnet is making full of money

Vikram first place the information that you presented here is wrong it is very clearly mentioned in the P&P (Policy & Procedure) that products should be delivered in 90 days not 45.
As far as the login is concerned again it is very well explained in the business plan so whoever enroll into the plan know it very clearly no is forced to get into it.
Also there is a very clear policy that if you want you can cancel the position within 60 days.
Basic problem with most of the people in this business is that they will never read these terms & condition. please read terms & condition & policy & procedure before you make a public comment like this.

The explanations wht you have given is good but i am just wondering the guys who all made money through gold quest only replied in this.
Goldquest may be good on their product and other stuff. My question is Every one joins in gold quest for making money not for the gold coin. Then they all come with the confidence that they can refer atleat few people on either sides . If its not happening the what the company suppose to do . They should have moneyback guarentee policy. they dont have that. Atleast now they are giving the product few years back they wont give the product also ” Pay 24000 ,for rest of the amount refer 5 -5 on either side. If he cant able to do taht he lost the money. csuse you wont get a product as you not reffered 5-5 . If you want to get the product you have to pay the rest of the amount which cost 19000 more . Where the product is really worthless. They are telling they are giving numismatic coins but whre they are getting authorisation for vinayaka coin, Balaji coin.. So funny rite.. This is pure mind game where the fact is you will lose money and they will make money.
