CBSE exams start
March 1st, 2012 - 2:06 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, March 1 (IANS) The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) exams for Classes 10 and 12 started Thursday here. While Class 12 students sat for the English exam, it was painting time for their juniors.
Anxious students and parents gathered at the examination centres much before the exams began at 9 a.m.
The examinations will be held between March 1 and 29.
Over eight lakh students are set to take the Class 12 while there are around 11 lakh students for Class 10. The city has over 500 exam centres.
