New Delhi, May 22 (IANS) The anxious wait for tens of thousands of class 12 students who appeared in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) examination will be over Friday as the board announces results for its Delhi, Guwahati and Allahabad zones and of foreign schools. The board announced the class 12 examination results Wednesday for three zones - Chennai, Panchkula and Ajmer.

This year, over 548,000 students appeared for the Class 12 board exams both in India and abroad. In Delhi alone, 160,414 students took for the exams.

A CBSE official said students can access their results after 8 a.m. Friday. They can register on www.cbse.nic.in to get their result through e-mail or check the result on the same website.

Results can also be obtained by logging in to www.cbseresults.nic.in, www.results.nic .in, http//mtnldelhi.in, http//bol.net.in, http//delhi.mtnl.in.
