New Delhi, May 29 (IANS) The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the Class 10 board examination results Thursday. Scores of students were seen at Internet cafes and calling dedicated telephone numbers to know how they had fared in the examination soon after the results were declared at 8 a.m.

This year, 765,095 students appeared for the Class 10 examination in India and abroad. These students from 8,199 schools had written papers at 2,624 centres in March.

CBSE officials said the results had been uploaded on the official website www.cbse.nic.in. Students could also access the results by logging in to www.cbseresults.nic.in, www.results.nic.in, http//mtnldelhi.in, http//bol.net.in and http//delhi.mtnl.in.
