Cash horde, ornaments seized in Madhya Pradesh
September 30th, 2011 - 12:11 am ICT by IANSBhopal, Sep 29 (IANS) Police in Madhya Pradesh have recovered cash and jewellery worth Rs.82 lakh from two men travelling in a car with an Uttar Pradesh number plate, an officer said Thursday.
The two were travelling in a car in Chhattarpur, some 400 km from here, Wednesday, when they were intercepted.
Police recovered only a part of the haul Wednesday, while the rest was discovered hidden in the car’s boot the next day, officer in-charge of the Alipura police station, J.D. Verma, told IANS.
