London, Oct 7 (IANS) Pop superstar Mariah Carey is planning to have a baby with her husband Nick Cannon. Thesun.co.uk reports that Carey was hosting an evening at the Bank Nightclub inside the Bellagio Resort in Las Vegas and sparked rumours that she might be pregnant. Close friends noticed that she has put on weight.

“She looked great, but she seemed to have put on a few pounds. Maybe she’s pregnant - or at least planning on it,” said Carey’s friend.

Another source added: “They’ve been trying during their travels, and she has seen her ob-gyn (obstetrician and gynaecologist) several times recently in California - and not just for check-ups.”

Carey and Cannon got married in April this year.
