Car bombing rocks Afghan city
January 26th, 2012 - 2:41 pm ICT by IANSKabul, Jan 26 (IANS) A suicide car bombing Thursday rocked Afghanistan’s Helmand province capital, injuring many people, including foreign troops, Xinhua reported.
The attack took place next to the education department building in the provincial capital Lashkar Gah, said deputy provincial police chief Kamaludin Shirzai.
He, however, failed to give the exact number of the deaths and injured people.
“Foreign soldiers could also be among the casualties,” he said.
At least six vehicles were damaged in the blast.
