London, May 13 (IANS) Supermodel Naomi Campbell is busy organising a charity catwalk show to raise funds for Japan during the Cannes International Film Festival in France next week.
Campbell wanted the show to be a follow-up to the Fashion For Relief fundraiser she staged in the aftermath of the Haiti earthquake in 2010, revealing last month, “It’s not 100 per cent confirmed but we are in talks right now and hopefully… we should know if we’re doing a Fashion For Relief for Japan. Not in Japan, hopefully in Cannes.”
The show has been scheduled for Monday, according to Britain’s Daily Mirror.
“I hope the money will support those who need it most,” said Campbell.
