July 30th, 2011 - 9:50 pm ICT by IANSBeijing, July 30 (IANS) A man fled with a camera from a shop in Shanghai, shortly after getting himself photographed with the same camera.
The unnamed man paid for a set of passport photos before stealing the camera in the small photo shop on Guanzhong Road West, the Shanghai Daily reported.
“It was the only camera in the shop that was used for all services,” said a store attendant, Huang. “It cost 10,000 yuan ($1,550).”
Two days later Huang realised the thief had left his passport photos with her. Police have asked the thief to surrender.
