CA student arrested for raping minor in Delhi
March 26th, 2011 - 3:57 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, March 26 (IANS) A 24-year-old chartered accountancy student was arrested for allegedly raping a five-year-old child in east Delhi, police said Saturday.
The assault took place Friday afternoon when the girl was visiting her grandmother’s house in Ganesh Nagar area of Mandawali, a police officer said.
“The girl was taken to the Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital where rape was confirmed,” he added.
Police said the attacker, a chartered accountancy student, was living in a rented accommodation in the colony.
